Yokai Tower

In collab with Capsule House

“It was one of those quiet mornings: where a cloud of dew rests on each blade of grass and the fields gently sway in long, undulating waves. The nocturnal animals have already returned to their burrows and the morning birds have not yet awoken. For a brief moment, all the world is in a peaceful slumber. Then, a single ray of light peeks over the horizon. Light scatters across the fields in illuminating iridescence. Insects buzz to life and the first shimmers of wildlife emerge from their sleep to begin their day.

A lone tower stood amid the fields, reaching toward the sky. Its inhabitants struggling to shake off the last vestiges of sleep. Dong! A bell sounded throughout the tower, shaking its core and reverberating throughout the fields. Suddenly, the first floor was alive with the pitter patter of steps and grumbles as the spirits and yokai of the tower began their day.”

This animated piece was commissioned by Capsule House NFT Project and it’s my interpretation of the “Yokai Tower” described in the Lore their creative team is writing. Above you can read the first 2 paragraphs. It’s an amazing story, and they are adding new chapters to the lore every month!
